Let’s Sketch the Cleveland Museum of Art

Join us to sketch at the Cleveland Museum of Art. We’ll meet on the benches in the middle of the atrium at 1:30 and again at 4:00pm. Entrance is free, no longer need to reserve tickets in advance. Parking: $12 non-members, $6 members. Parking can be reserved online in advance.

CMA Current Rules:

1. Require masks be worn at all times.

2. One bag smaller than 13 x 17 x 6 inches is permitted. Nothing carried on one’s back. 

3. Dry media only in the galleries.

4. Coat check is currently closed, large bags and other items (chairs, easels, etc,) are not permitted.

5. Cafe open Sundays 11-4pm, with snacks, beverages, pastries, grab-and-go sandwiches, and some hot food.

Join us for a combined art event: USk Sketch Together & Paint The Park - Plein Air in Peninsula Ohio

We’ll meet at Peninsula Art Academy (www.peninsulaartacademy.org) where artwork from the Plein Air event will be exhibited. 

Things to sketch: Train Depot, village high street, shops, church and nature.

Let’s Sketch Hingetown & the Transformer Station

We’ll meet at the Transformer Station, where parking is free for Cleveland Museum of Art members.

Let's Sketch on Superior Viaduct

Let’s Sketch the Wendy Park Bridge/Coast Guard Station

 

Date: Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 1:30-4:00pm

Location: 2800 Whiskey Island Dr, Cleveland, OH 44102 

Join us to sketch the exciting, new Wendy Park Bridge that will link the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Trail Lake Link to Wendy Park on Whiskey Island and Lake Erie. Accessible from Edgewater Park, follow the signs to Wendy Park. Drive past the Whiskey Island Still and Marina, continue straight and we’ll meet in the parking lot near the new bridge. The Historic Coast Guard station is a short walk down the pier.

Let's Sketch Daffodil Hill at Lake View Cemetery

The daffodils should still be in bloom, also plenty of spring beauty at Lake View. It's not far from the Garfield Monument. There are way-finding signs posted from the entrances. We will meet at the stone buildings across from the main hill.
