West 25th Street

Here's two sketches from Saturday. It was a beautiful sunny morning but still a little too chilly to sketch outside, so I did these from inside the car. A great way to kick off a terrific weekend weather wise.

Eggshelland Sketchcrawl Event

Friday, April 6, 2012
10am-Noon
1031 Linden Lane
Lyndhurst, OH
Lyndhurst, OH
Sketchers, Photographers, and Journalers of all skill levels welcomed
Sketching Stools allowed (but staning is recommended for best view)
Join us for a great sketching opportunity at Eggshelland in Lyndhurst, OH.
The house is located in a cul-de-sac not far from Richmond Mall. Ron & Betty Manolio of Lyndhurst has been creating Eggshelland since 1957. What began as 750 hand painting eggshells has turned into a display of over 40,000. The couple spends all year planning on graph paper and painting any more eggs that they may need.
Just some more notes: This is a residential neighborhood, so please keep the neighbors in mind when you pick your parking space. Also, it would be very considerate to take a further away parking spot and leave the close ones for families that are visiting with small children. Also, we're going to be there a lot longer than the average visitor.
Stools are allowed, but you will get your best view by standing.
